Permit to Acquire (PTA)

Once you have your Category AB firearms licence you can then apply on the Weapons Licensing website for a PTA (Permit to Acquire) Click Here

When you have your Category H Licence card, you can decide what firearm you want to purchase.
Once you have decided on the brand/model firearm you want, you need to get a club approval letter from the club to purchase that firearm to use at the club.
Finally, you can apply on the Weapons Licensing website for a PTA (Permit to Acquire) Click Here
Please note if you are in the first 12 months of holding a Category H Licence, there are limitations on the firearms quantities you can purchase within the first 12 months.
Within the first 12 months of being issued a concealable firearms licence you can only acquire one air pistol; and one of the following, (a rim-fire pistol) or (a centre-fire pistol) or (a black powder pistol)
